Antony’s Meltdown – London, UK

Lou is the latest artist to be added to this year’s Meltdown Festival at London’s prestigious Southbank Centre.  This year’s festival is curated by Lou’s friend and collaborator, Antony.

Lou will perform a rare one-off London concert at the Royal Festival Hall on Friday 10 August. Tickets from £45.

 

Tickets will go on sale to Southbank Members at 10am Tuesday 29 May, and on general sale at 10am on Thursday 31 May.  Tickets for Lou’s Meltdown show can be ordered from

‘Final Weapon’ Screening in NYC

Final Weapon – A Stephan Berwick film, featuring an appearance and music by Lou Reed

Final Weapon will have its NYC debut as one of a small number of action films screening at the New Filmmakers Fest. The screening will begin on April 10th at 8pm at the Anthology Film Archives located at 32 2nd Ave at 2nd St.

In Conversation: Legendary Musician Lou Reed and Producer Bob Ezrin

The Carpenter Performing Arts Center – 6200 Atherton St., on the campus of California State University, Long Beach

Presented in conjunction with the world premiere exhibition, Lou Reed, Metal Machine Trio: The Creation of the Universe—an Arup SoundLab Installation of a live recording of Metal Machine Trio at Gramercy Theater in 2009. The exhibition is on view from January 27, 2012 through April 15 in the Project Room at the University Art Museum, CSULB.
