Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson did a very special performance at the PEN World Voices annual Cabaret this past Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 at the Francis Gould Hall in NYC. Other participants in the sold-out evening of readings and performances included Parker Posey, Carrie Brownstein, and James Franco!

On Thursday April 30th, 2009 Lou Reed atteneded a very special performance of ‘Perfect Day’ at the Riverside Church in New York in celebration of Queen’s Day in the Netherlands. Sjoerd Tamminga played ‘Perfect Day’ on the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial Carillon in the Riverside Church.
