We are proud to announce that Lou has just completed recording a full length album in collaboration with heavy metal band, Metallica!

Ever since Lou had the pleasure of performing with Lars, James, Kirk and Robert at the 25th Anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at Madison Square Garden in October of 2009, they have been discussing the possibility of making a record together. They have finally realized this dream and have spent the past month recording at Metallica’s HQ studio outside San Francisco. They recorded ten songs during this time and are putting the finishing touches on the album now. Look for more details, including release date, in the coming weeks! Lou’s book, the Raven, illustrated by Lorenzo Mattotti, will be released in the U.S. and Canada early this summer. The Raven is a collaboration between Lou and Mattotti, based on the works of Edgar Allen Poe, and is going to be released on Fantagraphics.
